1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Kilobyte Services ("we," "us," or "our"), including our website, plugins, tools, and custom development services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Library Plugins, Tools, and Configs

Our Library includes pre-made plugins, tools, configs, and other software we have developed. When you purchase or use items from our Library:

You receive a license to use the software for your server or project as described in the product listing.
You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software without our written permission.
We retain all intellectual property rights. Your license is non-exclusive and limited to the scope we specify.

3. Custom Development (Plugins, Websites, Bots)

For custom work we create specifically for you—including custom plugins, websites, Discord bots, and other software:

Standard License: By default, you receive a license to use the custom work for your server or project. Kilobyte Services retains ownership and intellectual property rights. You must provide attribution (credit) to Kilobyte Services where reasonable (e.g., in plugin configs, website footers, or bot about commands).
Full Rights Option: Customers may pay an additional fee to obtain full rights to the custom work. Even with full rights, you must still provide attribution to Kilobyte Services. Failure to provide required attribution constitutes a breach of these terms.
Failure to Attribute: If you fail to provide required credit or attribution, regardless of whether you purchased full rights, Kilobyte Services retains all rights to the work. We may revoke your license and take appropriate action to enforce our rights.

4. Payment and Refunds

Payment terms are agreed upon per project. We do not offer refunds for completed custom development work. For Library items, refund policies are specified at the point of purchase.

5. Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our software or services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific product or service in question.

6. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via our website or Discord.
